Rimfire Fly - Silverdale

David Dundas
All

We are having our last Rimfire Fly shoot for the year at Silverdale on 10th December (2nd Saturday). As usual this xmas I am supplying a bottle of 12 year old Scotch (Chivas) for the person who shoots the most Flies and we have a Medal for the highest score (shooter of the month) .
Assemble between 8am and 8:30 at the long end of the range for the bench draw. A warmup target is shot at 9am and we get onto the business target soon after. Normally all done shooting by 11am.
Any .22 lr under 17lb OK
Its only 200 yards, so pretty easy when the wind is kind.

Last months winner was Ed McGrann - I will get all the scores from last month and post them later in the week.

Our next Fly shoot will probably be the second Saturday of March 2012, but I need to confirm with the range.

Would love to see you at the range.

While the weather on the coast has been a shocker this week, hardly any rain has fallen up at Warragamba and the Silverdale range. We will be shooting no matter the conditions as the Fly shooters are a tough breed and a few drops of rain won't stop them.
For those you can not make it this weekend then we would love to see you in the new year.

Have a good one,

Hi David i have been speaking to Anthony about perhaps having some interclub shoots between Batemans Bay and Silverdale, it may even develop into more shooters being involved for both clubs. I am keen to get to Silverdale and shoot.

we may even be able to come up with a club trophy for the even, early days yet but we will see how we go
cheers Les

Hi Les

I would support\welcome an Inter club shoot. I really enjoy travelling and shooting at other ranges and it tests the skills as well.
Already we have interested shooters planing trips to Batemans Bay for the two big Fly events in 2012.
Our next shoot at Silverdale will be on the 14th Jan 2012, will be a smaller than usual turn up as people will be away so welcome any visitors who might be in Sydney are welcome to come out to Silverdale.

Regards
