On site assistance at shoots

Les Fraser
Administrator
Hi guys who would be prepared to assist at shoots to help organisers of shoots with those little jobs that help shoots to run. I will put my name up as the co ordinator for it what we will do is.

Assist with scoring
placing scored targets on the wailing wall
clean off the benches at the end of the day
sweep off the concrete once the shooting has finished
bring in club flags

assist range officers with making sure that the rules are being adhered to
be prepared to help new shooters to the sport with how to shoot the fly

what are your thoughts
cheers Les
shooting well is more a mental control of your thoughts than just pulling the trigger........

Hi Les   you can count me in
if I can help in any way at a shoot  just tell me what is wanted
the more hands on deck the better
any one can help  you don't need to be a range officer to score a target
                      see you at the Bay

Every Shot inside the Eight Ring would be GREAT

Hi guys just to keep this thread going this is what i would like to see from the organisers of the shoots. Can you please list all of the jobs that need to be doing and from this a group of shooters will assist. Dave, John M and myself have put ourselves out there to help so if we can get three or four more that will make the work load easier. When Canberra is on for the first National in March i will take time off work to assist Dave and the guys down there.

If we all pitch in just a little then the rewards of having a well run shoot will attract more shooters to the fly.

cheers and good shooting to all
Les

Les,

I'm also more than willing to help where possible. I am going to try and take a week off for Canberra and come and help you where I can. There is so much work that goes on behind the scenes and I think if we all help out it shares the load a bit. After all many hands make light work.
Just doing my part to reduce the fly population!!!!
