Nomination Forms for Mackay Zone 4 Fly Shoot

    Mackay is holding a registered Fly Shoot  in March  30th 31 st
    It will be our 2019 Championship Shoot  
    This Shoot will consist of  Centre-fire Light and Heavy  on Saturday and Rim-fire  on Sunday  

    We have  a 15 Bench  firing line that has been used for previous State and National  events
    The weather at that time of the year  should be quite good  and our range will have a full grass coverage

           and this is the range  after  a lot of earth work to knock the 400 yard  mound down  
              to open up the target line     -  we shoot  up hill  about 4 degrees  --   into a valley

  Hello Tim   we have a great camping area  with 10 powered sites   - a bunk house that has 8 bunks  - a brand new  shower and toilet  facility   and a big BBQ area with a free unit to cook on   -- if you don't want to cook then our kitchen is going to be able to supply meals    -- more information will be available when we post our nomination forms  in a couple of weeks time
              it will be great to catch up with some of our southern shooters again

     Hello  all Fly Shooters   just another photo i found  of our range before we ever had a 500m  target mound
                       this was taken about 6 years ago  and the mounds you can see were to protect  cattle that used to
           graze on the range and walk across the range    -- that does not happen any more  and we only get the odd stray
                so after a lot of earth work  we are ready for our  first registered shoot   the Zone 4 Fly Championships
                     that will be on  March 30th and 31st
