Federal BRT Fly Nationals

Dear all, nominations are open for the Federal BRT Cup / 2nd Fly Nationals to be held 9 March.

SSAA ACT is hosting the
BRT Federal Cup 500m Fly Shoot
Incorporating the 2nd Fly Nationals
Saturday 9 March 2013

Venue: SSAA ACT Majura Shooting Complex, Jim McKinley Range

Schedule of Events:
Saturday Day – 2nd Fly Nationals - Federal BRT Cup 500m Fly Shoot
sponsored by BRT Shooters Supply
Sunday – 1000yds Benchrest @ Canberra Rifle Club

In order to maximize the opportunity for participation, it is requested that those who are interested in shooting two classes nominate their preferred class – the organizing committee reserve the right to limit competitors to a single class in order to allow more shooters to participate in the Fly Nationals.

Fees

Federal BRT Cup: $50 per class or $90 for both classes
Includes: Optional Warmer target, 5 targets to score, 8 rds per target

1000yds Benchrest Match: $15 1 class, $20 for 2 using competitor marking
Includes 2 x 6 minute sighting periods, 2 x 10min record targets per class., 5 shots for light class per record target, 10 shots for heavy per record target.

The Fly Shoot is run in accordance with the SSAA National Benchrest Rulebook

All nominations to be e-mailed to actflyshoot@hotmail.com  a decision will be made on 2 March regarding 1 or 2 classes on the basis of nominations received; competitors wishing to shoot two classes will be advised by e-mail on 3 March.
Please nominate what class or classes to be shot, if intending to share equipment and if you are a left handed shooter.

hi mate really looking forward to the first hit out should be great fun, i hope as many shooters can get there as possible and make the event truly an event to remember....
shooting well is more a mental control of your thoughts than just pulling the trigger........

Hi! Everyone i am not going to make it to Nationals this year.
With continuing rain and closed and damaged roads just can not make it in time so will have to withdraw will see what conditions are like next year.

Hi all,

Saturday was my first comp and I was very impressed with the running of the event.
I had a great time and the amount I learnt from sitting on my home range for the day with flags was immeasurable.
 Thanks to everyone for making the day such a great day.
