Equipment Lists - Is it a job for you ?

Hi Flyshooters,

Under results and Soty of the web site, you will notice a new tab down the bottom with equipment list on it.

It is a question that is often asked and talked about, so I know that there is always interest in having equipment lists available following each of our shoots.  Particularly of the top 10 or so in each class.

If you can use excel and travel to most of the shoots, maybe you could help ?

I have started the process and compiled an equipment list from the latest Batemans Bay shoot using the information that I had...., but as I am sure you are aware, the organisers of events have a lot to do already.... so going around and checking the accuracy & completeness of equipment lists during a shoot and then compiling them after the event is not something that I feel should be left to those who already run events.

If someone would like to put their hand up to do it, or even do it for a couple of shoots ech year, that would be a great help !!

Cheers

great stuff Anthony the information in these lists are invaluable for shooters looking to build a rifle for the match. I guess the records and calibers speek for themselves the 6mm domination for light gun and 30 cal for the heavy guns. I guess we can expand the lists to cover over a full year and try and draw a conclusion for a dominate calibre. There is no real configuration that is dominating however one thing that can be clearly concluded is recoil firing a hot 30 in a light gun is not for the faint hearted but why is there no real hot 6mm in Heavy gun. Perhaps there will be shortly
cheers and good shooting to all
Les

Thanks to Dave Groves for sending me the Federal Cup Equipment List.... it is now up on there also.

I have now added the Equipment lists next to the results on the web site, as well as the page dedicated to Equipment lists.

You can find them by either looking at the "Results & Soty" section and using the link next to each event, or by clicking the tab at the bottom after you have opened the Results and Soty page, this will take you to a page with just Equipment lists on it....

Please have a look, make sure it works for you and post your thoughts or comments on here !!

Cheers

Hello Anthony     I see that the list is now up and running
but also a few small errors are recorded
my bullet weight is 123 gn   not 103
and if you contact john lavaring he has the data on the 7 x47 L  that he shoots
its great to see what all the other shooters use
thanks again for the effort you and Les have put into the job

Hi all i guess by now we are looking for someone to collate the equipment lists please, i think that Mike Bell is doing a great job with the interviews which by the way will be up this week for everyone to see and have a read Pete Vanmuers gave a real down to earth interview which is what it is all about.

So can someone please put your hand up to do the equipment lists that way there is some really good information that we can refer to at a later stage.
