Cash Bash -The Challenge

Hi All,

Regardless of the way Seb's 'Team Shoot' pans out I would like to offer a challenge on behalf of  'Team ProCal'.

Team ProCal consists  of  myself (Pete van Meurs), Lee-Anne van Meurs, Jason Trotter and Tyson Trotter.

We are willing to accept a bet from any team of 4 shooters who reckon they can beat us in the following guidelines -

1/  4 shooters nominated - single or double entered does not matter. Best 4 scores to count regardless if those 4 scores come from 2, 3 or four of the team members and regardless of Light or Heavy gun.

2/  $50 up front for each 'Team' member (ie $200 per team)

3/  Winner takes all (no highest placed loser etc, and no lucky-dip crap)

If you wish to participate, the above are the rules of this side-bet, little (if any) correspondence  regarding the terms of the bet will be considered.

All challengers should respond to this post with team-member details

Put your money where your gun is!!!!!!!!!!

Worried about losing your  dollars?  I have always reckoned that these side-bets are better entertainment value than a night at the flicks - which would cost at least as much (plus the the inability to hide the fact it was you that farted in the theatre; compared to outdoors).

Hi Pete,

One teams type bet is plenty for me.... but as you are issuing challenges....

I am prepared to take you on for either $50 cash or a carton of beer/ bottle of chosen spirit etc.... head to head in light gun. My light gun against yours.... much more personal and interesting than a team bet !!

I would prefer product than cash.... as the loser has to go buy it and deliver it to the next shoot :) But either way is fine.

Hi Pete,

As I consider we still didn't form a team yet (until I type this post) - just like Anthony's offer, I would be glad to against you - head to head in LG - I'll use my LG against Yours. ----- It only as a side bet & to me it would add more fun into the shoot (rule #10) - Not a 'personal thing?' etc, we are all friends here.
$50 cash. Ok?

Hi Anthony and Seb,

I have to say I am dissapointed inthe lack of a challenger to my team cash-bash. Perhaps many are still frantically trying to form a team? If it helps I will accept a challenge from a two or three person team - any combination that can generate 4 scores. You would be building in a fair handicap but that would be up to you.

It goes without saying that I will accept the personal side bets offered by Anthony and Seb!!!!

Sounds like fun..... Nothing like a side bet to add to the challenge of an event..... :)

I think Seb and I may have to make sure we bring enough cash along though !!

Love the sound of the idea. Wondering if you would extend that to the Rimfire events?

 Hyperthetically - I would submitt the following team members from Sydney - Eddie McGrann, Lee McGrann, Steve Butcher and Myself. Not sure they would all put their money up, but would be fun. In the rimfire event these 4 finished 1st, 2nd, 4th and 6th at the NSW Fly at Batemans Bay last year and will be there to again this year to enjoy the lovely soth coast.
I expect one of them will win the event again this year and yes I will put my money on that.

Hi again Pete,

Since no one yet response to your 'team cash bash' challenge, on behalf of 'Team Seb' we would be glad to against your team at the c/ship. Our team consists of Stuart & Annie Elliot, Murray Hicks, and me/seb.
Please note that the last one is the weak part of the team lol!!! But I'll shoot my best for sure. Don't be surprise if I score 250 or more this time! (kidding, just a bit curious eh...)
