BRISBANE SOTY 18 AUGUST

Hi all approval has been gained to conduct Brisbanes SOTY events on the 18 August and also on the Monday after the "Madden"
Nomination forms will be posted on this site shortly  and to all Fly Shooters email addresses I have.

Unfortunately due to range usage we will be limited to 20 Centrefire shooters in two relays.

Hi Dale i will be shooting both events in HG and LG on the 18th of August and after the Harry Madden.
i am currently in NZ so if your noms are up before i get back please put me down for both

Hello Dale  please put me down to shoot Light and Heavy class
                      in the Madden shoot
                         i might be able to get to the earlier shoot  
                     but it not for sure  --  so i wil have to take the chance of missing out
                       because of your limited number of positions available
                     why have you been limited to only 20 shooters  when there have been many more
                      competetors at previous shoots

            will there be a SOTY shoot held there  this year

Hi John
the only soty shoot will be after the Harry Madden now as time ran out for publication and other issues and the state delegates tried to get every thing they could to make it happen but unfortunately not this time round.

So it really makes the other shoots in the year very hot contenders for valuable SOTY points. Both classes are close with Mike Bell in a commanding position in LG which is really pleasing. I think SOTY this year is very very competitive and good luck to all shooters...
